In Sk8skool we are very flexible
and open to suggestions to suit whatever you need to be a faster skater.
You may come and try Sk8skool for free 3 times, just arrange a time and date.
Sk8skool
membership
(750kr/month) offers support to
skaters that wish to improve. Sk8SKOOL
is a training group, that allows time for
Personal
Coaching, gives extra training opportunities, and offers personal support to
athletes who have a burning desire to be fast, strong and technically excellent
for Speedskating competition. Your
club coach must agree to the arrangement. When you start in Sk8skool
you will have a 1 MONTH trial period.
You
always remain in your own club, and compete in
races for your normal Skating Club.
If you are a Gerlev Idrætshøjskole student for 4 months,
then Sk8SKOOL is free!
Each skater receives:

Personal Training programs: Speed/Endurance/Strength

Personal Technique Correction

Personal Video Analysis

Personal Off-Skate programs

Personal Mental Training and Goal Setting

Personal development activities/challenges/experiences

Physical Performance testing
(Oxygen uptake testing, on skates)

times weekly, high quality training sessions, together
with an focussed disciplined group.

All sk8skool activities may be filmed or photographed and displayed on the
Internet or in training materials. By participating in s8skool activities you
agree to you could be displayed in above mentioned and other public facing
materials at any point in time.
When participating in sk8skool activities, you acknowledge that there is a risk
of physical injury connected with elite sport training and execution and that
sk8skool cannot be held liable. (Upon entering sk8skool, you must sign a waiver).
All SK8skool memberships cost
9000 kroner per year, this is divided in to 12 payments of 750 kroner per month.
“Sk8skool activity levels will vary from month to month. In some winter/spring
months, we will have high activity levels as we prepare for the next racing
season, and in return, we will have low-activity levels in the late
summer/autumn to allow the body to recover.”
